guy who introduced himself as "Paddy" sat next to me at WXOU
bar. In a thick brogue, he told me about a painting he's having a hard
time finishing. It's a triptyc about an evil englishman who hanged irish
catholics with their feet stuck in buckets of burning oil.

He went on to to tell me that The Three Musketeers were personifications of England, Ireland and France before he digressed into his love for Renaissance fairs, "I love wearing a great big weapon," he said as his accent faded into a midwest twang... He drew this on a napkin. |
